EAGLES ENJOY THEIR FULL LIFE SPAN, ARE YOU AN EAGLE?

Eagles enjoy their full life span. No enemy can easily shoot them down. They are difficult to catch. They don't fall sick easily because they eat only living things. The rain does not trap them so they don't get pneumonia. Almost all of tem grow old. Job 5:26 say: 'Thou shall come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in his season.'

A true spiritual eagle is not afraid of death. If you live in obedience to God, you will not die before you complete your assignment on earth. Every move of Satan and his cohorts to take your life will continue to fail. The Pharisees and wicked leaders of the Synagogue made several attempts on the life of Jesus but they never succeeded until it was his time to go to the Cross. He willingly released himself into their hands (Luke 4:28-30). You will not die before your time.

When the time of an eagle is over, it behaves in a strange way. It goes to the highest mountain possible and perches on the highest point. It sits down and faces the sun. It remains in this position looking at the sun until it dies. This teaches us as spiritual eagles not to fear death but to fix our gaze on the son of righteousness, the Lord Jesus himself, as we grow old and ready to depart (Mal 4:2). You should die sitting down and looking unto Jesus, because he is the author and finisher of our faith (Heb 12:2). Since he began our faith, he also will end it.

A time to die is a time to look to the Lord, because you need his help. David says in Psalm 23:4 that Jesus will be with you when you go through the valley of the shadow of death, so you will not fear. Stephen looked to Jesus shortly before he was stoned to death and saw him standing with open arms to welcome him home (Acts 7:55-56, 59-60). Revelation 21:23 say Jesus is the Sun of the Heavenly City. As we take our gaze from last minute worries and focus on Jesus, we will keep looking and drawing closer to him until suddenly we discover we are in the Heavenly Country. What a glorious exit!

You will not die before the time God has appointed for you. Ask him to help you to fulfill your destiny within his appointed time

'Thou shall come to thy grave in a full age, Like as a shock of corn cometh in his season.' (Job 5:26)
