UNBEATABLE LOVE STORY: MUST READ

God is love. Love is another name you can call God. He demonstrates His love to us in the past, present and future. He gave his greatest gift to us when He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, some 2000 years ago to come and die for sinful man and restore fellowship with Him.

‘In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him’ (1 John 4:9). Today, we bask in his love at every moment – his loving eyes are never shut because he does not want us out of his sight even for a second. ‘Blessed be God who daily loads us with benefits even the God of our salvation.’

He has provided all you will ever need, even before your birth. He is happy to meet your daily needs. He loves you in spite of what you do when you sin. His heart is deeply wounded and he is pained because of his love for you. And when the repercussions of your sin take their toll on you, he shares in it too.

‘In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old (Isa 63:9).
He has passed this way before, so he knows just what you feel when you are tempted, or in pain and distress. He cares for you. He thinks of you always. He plans good for your entire life. Because he loves you, whatever he allows to come your way is for your good. He cannot forsake you or leave you.

He says: ‘I have borne, I will also carry you.’ He is not tired of taking care of you. He has planned for you to spend eternity with him, so that you can see him face to face and live with him  in eternity. What an unbeatable, everlasting love! In any situation you find yourself, remember God loves you very much. He is waiting for you to return and rest in him!

Thank the Lord for not being tired of your excesses and for
always being there for you. Ask him to help you to love him more.
‘But whoso keepeth his word’ in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him.’ (1 John 2:5)
